Rafiu is currently the Finance Manager of the Meridian Group and brings on board a lot of experience. He adds to the team, tenacity, strategic thinking, effective relationship building and corporate governance expertise.
Rafiu holds an Msc in Development Finance from the University of Ghana Business School and a Bsc in Accounting and Information Systems from Regent University College, an affiliate of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He also holds an HND in Accountancy from Ho Polytechnic and a member in good standing of the Association of Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB) Ghana.
Rafiu has over 15 years’ experience in the banking industry in Ghana. He was the Assistant Treasurer and also in charge of treasury operations at BOND Savings and Loans for about 4 years.
He was also at First Atlantic Merchant Bank now First Atlantic Bank for 10 years where he worked in various capacities such as, part of a three-man team to set up the bank’s inward remittance department, operations officer at the Accra Central branch of the bank and treasury operations where he also doubled as team lead, credit operations.
